The dogwood, British Columbia’s Provincial flower, was well represented when the Pacific Great Eastern became the British Columbia Railway in 1972. A new name came with a new brand, and the “Dogwood Logo” would become a distinct characteristic of the railway with its two-tone green paint scheme. This distinct emblem can be found on the left hand side of the shirt, just about the breast pocket.
